Project: My Own Bed
is the community service project of the Out of School Youth (OSY) work readiness program. OSY participants practice learned job skills - project management, customer service, team work - while serving the community. Community based organizations recommend families who are in need of children's beds. We deliver, assemble and dress the bunk beds. |
Internships
Our summer internship program provides rising high school juniors the opportunity to work on a live homebuilding site for the summer with local homebuilders. Students learn about and work with multiple trades as well as develop their employment skills. It's a unique professional and personal growth experience for local youth. You can help us fund an hour, a whole day, or their whole internship! These donations include their insurances and FICA. |
Supportive Services
Through our many programs that provide individuals with life and job skills training and job placement in the construction industry, we also support them in more fundamental ways. Your donation could help fund a meal, work attire, tools, or transportation expenses that will allow them to overcome barriers to employment. |
