What does Mari think about the class?
"I really liked how the course started with an OSHA 10 Safety class. It helped me understand how to work safe in the construction environment. The teacher, Mr. Louie Garcia, is a great teacher. He was so professional. I have not seen any other teacher who has such a high level of enthusiasm, passion and humor."

"The course covers a lot of subjects such as carpentry, electrical, concrete, HVAC, plumbing, solar, tile work, and insulation. We had a very good overview of all facets of construction. It is one of the unique programs that let us expose and learn from different perspectives."

"The field trips were fun and useful. We had opportunities to visit major construction companies and be able to see how they do business and operate. We observed industrial, commercial and residential construction."

"The most important reason for me to join the program is to find a good job. The program teaches us to prepare our resumes and we practiced mock interviews with companies that wanted to hire us"
