Why Do I Teach These Classes?
I did not grow up around the construction trades, but I have always been interested in building things and curious to know how things work. I think that giving people an opportunity to experience construction work contributes to the growth and improvement of communities by preparing skilled professionals who can contribute to housing developments and other necessary projects.
College education is often seen as a transformative experience that can shape students' futures. By teaching college-based construction classes, I have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on students' lives and careers, helping them build a strong foundation for success.
